This policy explains how Canwick House handles personal information collected through this website. We are the data controller for the information you share with us.

Who we are

What we collect

We only collect personal information you choose to give us, which is:

• Enquiry form: your name, email address, telephone number (if provided), the type of care or enquiry you're interested in, and your message.
• Careers form: your name, email address, the role you're interested in, your message and, if you choose to upload one, your CV.
• Anonymous website analytics: limited, aggregated information about how visitors use the site (pages viewed, device type, country). This information cannot be used to identify you.

How we use it

Enquiry information is used only to respond to your enquiry and arrange any visit or further conversation. Careers information is used only to consider your application and contact you about current or future opportunities. Analytics information is used to improve the website.

Our legal basis

We rely on your consent (in the case of enquiry and careers form submissions, by sending them to us) and on our legitimate interest in running and improving a small website. We do not use your data for marketing and we will never sell it.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers we need to run the site:

• Resend, our transactional email provider, to deliver your form submission to our inbox.
• Vercel, our hosting and analytics provider.
• Sanity, the content management system used by our team to update the site. Editor accounts only.

We do not share your data with any other third parties. We will disclose information if required to do so by law.

How long we keep it

Enquiry messages are kept for as long as we may need them to answer your enquiry and any follow-up, typically up to twelve months. Careers submissions, including CVs, are kept for as long as we are actively considering you for a role, and for up to twelve months afterwards in case a suitable opportunity arises. You can ask us to delete your information sooner at any time.

Your rights

You have the right to ask us to:

• Confirm what personal information we hold about you.
• Correct anything that is wrong.
• Delete your information.
• Stop using your information in a particular way.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page will tell you when it was last revised.
